Ready For a Nap 8/18/2014

This week was legit.
But I feel like I haven't slept in a year.
Oh wait....
(;
Like I said last week, we spent the night at the Kettle Moraine sisters in Oconomowoc on Monday. [Isn't that the greatest name of a town ever?] We got up bright and early to get ready and be in Milwaukee by 8. We had mission tour from 8am-4pm. It was the greatest. Elder Martino from the Seventy talked to us and he's the coooooolest. I was super stressing out about it all week, but It was SUPER awesome and it was sad when it ended.
He praised President and Sister Cutler like none other. President is going to be an apostle one day. Thats the basic point I got out of the meeting. haha :P He taught us how missionaries are assigned to their missions and that the Spirit confirmed to him that we are in this mission to learn from the Cutlers. Whoa. He gave us a lot of training on ways to improve our numbers and reach our goals. He looked at our mission stats and then prepared his training, so it was super awesome. He gave us tips on working with members and finding "Amuleks" to go to lessons with us. He said that 13% of our new investigators are found through member referrals. However, 60% of all our baptisms are from that 13%. Thats nuts. I thiiiiiiiink President Monson was on to something when he said that now is the time for members and missionaries to work together stronger than ever before. (:
We went straight from Milwaukee to a lesson with Scott in Johnson Creek. He's super cool. He has a lot of potential, he just doesnt know it yet.
Wednesday was a super slow day even though we worked our bums off. Sometimes people just dont answer the door...all day long.
I have no idea what we did on Thursday because its the only day I didnt write about in my journal because lots of stuff went down and we ended up sleeping in Milwaukee with the Muskego Lakes sisters.
Heres what went down: we left Whitewater at 7 to make it to milwaukee by 8 because we were going to have exchanges with our Sister Training Leaders. We got there a little late. So we chilled at the stake center. We call them at 8:30 and they had JUST LEFT KENOSHA. So.... we wait some more. They didnt get there until like 9:15. We have to be in by 9:30 at the latest, and our cars alert the mission office if we are driving past 10. So. We had to stay with the Muskego Lakes sisters. I didnt have anything because I was supposed to be going back to Lake Mills, so that was fun.
Then I drove home on Friday morning with Sister Tanner. We spent the whole day in Watertown and I literally taught every lesson except 3 in spanish. Oh! And my spanish nametag came in the mail! Dreams do come true! So. That was awesome. My spanish is getting much better! My brain hurt like heck at the end of the day, but it was super fun! We taught Martha and Jaysin and Edgar and Victoria and Alberto and Elena annnnnd Jude and Tina annnnnnnnnnd...others. haha. Sister Lords came with us to Albertos lesson and I just love her. Shes the perfect fellowshipper. Alberto is going through a ROUGH time. Pray for him?
Saturday was annoying because no one wanted to answer their door again all morning. But then we went to Watertown and saw the Lockermans (who are my new favorite people!) and Alberto. Then we went back to Lake Mills to play soccer with the Elders and ward members and Alberto came with and brought his little girls and they are the cutest things to walk the earth. I adore them. Like. SOOOOO stinking cute.

Jaysin came to church yesterday!!! Alberto slept in :/ We had lunch with Hermana Fuentes. She's struggling too. Her little boy, Nathaniel is the cutest. He's my little 5 year old boyfriend. Shhhhhhhh(:
We went to Waterloo and met the cutest mexican family. The speak really good english but they told me to practice my spanish, so we spoke mostly in spanish. I can teach the first lesson now pretty much on my own. Its so fun.Then we went to Deerfield and saw Ladonna. She has had a rough life too.
Today we are going fishing...maybe. The elders are coming up to town to fix our bike so we said we'd do something with them. I'm going to try to write letters because I know I suck at it. Then we are going to have a lesson with our friend Maddie and then head back up to Watertown to see the Greers and hopefully Alberto.
