This Week in Lake Mills 8/25/14

Hey, so I suck and am out of time again.

Pday was fun! I made more zucchini bread. We went fishing. It was fun. Elder Bright and I were the only ones with fishing licenses and we only had one pole, so we mostly just chilled while Elder Bright was pulling out fish like nobodies business. He literally caught a huge pike on the first cast...intentionally. It was ridiculous.
We saw Maddie and taught her the Restoration. We saw the Greers and talked about the nature of God and how to receive revelation.

Tuesday was awesome but it sucked at the same time. Its been rainy and thunderstormy and it kills me physically. 

We had DTM and had lunch together before and ate burritos bigger than my head. 

We saw Jaysin and had an awesome lesson with him about the Book of Mormon and how the Nephites knew of Christ before he even came and on a different continent. We talked a lot about darkness and light and how God works in light.It was awesome. He's feeling the change of heart that the gospel brings. 

We met Alberto at the park and I thought a bird pooped on my head and so I was flipping out inside the whole time. We read the Book of Mormon with him, but I really wasnt there. It was funny. Especially when I said something and they laughed and laughed and laughed when they looked and there was nothing there. 

We taught Roberto, who is the cutest 9 year old of all time. We taught him about the Restoration. He's super insightful and so funny.

Wednesday says the following in my journal,
"I'M IN LOVE WITH EVERYONE. 

the end."

We saw Jaysin at the beach (well, the park by the beach..) and had a great lesson. God's got something awesome in store for him. 

We had dinner with Alberto and Sister Lords and talked about the gospel of jesus christ. Alberto is aawesome. He's super prepared and is PRO at recognizing the Spirit. He's excited about his baptism on September 6th.

Thursday was a typically weekly planning day. We did service at the thrift store. Saw Blanca. Oh. hahahaha. he cat is super funny. We were reading the Libro De Mormon together and he sat his big fat bum right on our books like a million times just because he could. I love Blanca. She reminds me of my grandma. 

Hermana Fuentes is moving now :/ We are so sad. We read a conference talk about Christ and talked about how the gospel will help her through the crazy amount of trials shes facing.

Jaysin apparently had an epiphany:

J: "I had an epiphany today."

Me: "Do tell."

J: "A fish without a bicycle is like a bus without wings. And thats why I use  the pay phone."

Now you know a little bit of what Jaysin's like. haha He's hilarious.

Friday was awesome!!

 We went to madison for me to go to counseling and we had way too many adventures. I ran into Brother Taylor from Richland Center and he was with one of Sister Alders converts. So they came to lunch with us. It was awesome. We saw Jaysin in Watertown and did a bunch of other stuff that I cant remember at this moment in time.

Saturday was a VERY humid day. Literally, it couldnt have been any less than 99% humidity. We helped two people move. It was disgusting. 

I held a cicada. Those things are crazy looking. We had lunch with the Lebecks. We went to Chandler Buths graduation/farewell party. He's going to Russia on his mission. They had a keg of Sprechers rootbeer and I'm going to find a way to send one of those home with me. And I was thoroughly instructed on the correct use of a keg by Bishop. #onlyinwisconsin

Yesterday I had the worst migraine ever. We had gospel principles in complete spanish cause Alberto, Yolanda, and hermana Uscanga came! It was awesome. We went to Deerfield and Waterloo and taught Roberto the plan of salvation in Lake Mills. It was great.
